Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q: Can I still RSVP for the in-person celebration at Drake?

A: Students can sign up for any open time block. The engineering-only event is on Saturday, June 12 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. PDT, while campus-wide processions are being held from June 10-15. Please refer to previously shared emails for more details. Please be advised to hold off on making travel arrangements until a specific time slot is secured.

Students can be accompanied by up to two guests for a procession around the stadium. Graduates will have their names read aloud, proceed across the stage by themselves and be photographed. They will rejoin their guests and be photographed off stage before exiting Drake Stadium.

All students and guests participating in the event will need to be either fully vaccinated or show a negative COVID test.

Please refer to Commencement FAQs for further information. Questions can be directed to our Message Center. For students: My UCLA Message Center. For the general public, family and guests: Message Center.

Q: Will the events be “live”?
